A RetroViewer makes for a fun way to see pictures. Even better when those pictures are just as nostalgic as the toy itself! Jimmy has a book titled, Got Gas?, in which he has complied old photographs of gas stations in Pennsylvania. For fun, he used some of the photos to make a custom RetroViewer!

Jimmy told us about it...

Father-in-law enjoying old photos on a RetroViewer
"Several months ago, I acquired a wonderful collection of central Pennsylvania gas station photos (with the original negatives) all from the 1920’s and 1930’s. Over three hundred unique images!

They were given to me by a gentlemen who worked for “The Atlantic Refining Company” in Harrisburg, PA. They have been stored away for decades and were actually supposed to be thrown out when the regional Office closed in the late 1960’s. Sure glad they were saved!

I’m working on publishing a picture book that will include 100 or more of the best photos, entitled “Got Gas?”.

I thought it would be fun to create a reel with several pictures on it from the collection. Here is my 86 year old father in-law enjoying them. He remembers some of these gas stations as he has been a life long resident of the area."
